📍 R2B – Research to Business 2024
In the afternoon of 27/06, from 3 to 3:50 p.m. in the Health and Wellbeing arena at R2B was held the workshop “AI and digital for the transformation of the health sector” in which, as leader of the project AI4ChemoBrain, part of the Operational Programme Fesr 2021-2027, we took part thanks to the interventions of Prof. Lorenzini – University of Bologna CIRI SdV and Dr. Bertini – Biopharmanet TEC, University of Parma.
Moderating the interventions was Cecilia Maini, Innovation Manager in Health and Wellbeing at ART-ER S.Cons.P.A.
The focus of the meeting was the current digital transformation of the health sector, which involves a wide variety of solutions and technologies such as Internet of Medical Things, sensors, IT platforms and software. These technologies, powered and managed by Big Data and Artificial Intelligence, enable faster diagnosis, accurate prevention, physician decision support, and patient therapeutic adherence support-all of which result in a more efficient service resulting in reduced costs, reduced waste, and a positive impact on quality of life.
Also as part of the projects co-funded by the Emilia-Romagna Region within the ERDF Regional Operational Programme 2021-2027, the REMEDY (Remote personalizEd Modular monitoring for management of patients with noncommunicablE Diseases to improve physiological and social recoverY) project was also presented, whose lead partner is DataRiver S.r.l.
